What has your life been preparing you to carry?

Around the world, women are beginning work shaped by years of faith, experience, service, waiting, hardship, learning, and ordinary life.

Some are writing. Some are building. Some are serving quietly. Some have begun ministries, businesses, resources, community initiatives, books, podcasts, or acts of service known only to the people they help.

The Aster Woman Stories exists to preserve and share those stories — and the faithful first steps behind them.

Stories of women who recognized what their lives had prepared them to carry — and took the first faithful step.

She Answered is an original video series featuring honest stories from women whose work may be public, quiet, paid, unpaid, complete, or still beginning — told in their own words, at their own pace, about what they prayerfully believed they were being prepared to carry.

Whose stories we hope to share

We're gathering stories from women who:

Began later in life
Transformed lived experience into service
Started a ministry, nonprofit, business, resource, or creative project
Serve quietly, without a public platform
Are still in the beginning
Took a small first step before everything was clear
Experienced waiting, caregiving, illness, grief, career change, motherhood, retirement, or redirection
Come from different countries, cultures, ages, and life experiences

A woman does not need to be successful, well-known, entrepreneurial, or finished to have a story worth hearing.

Before Anything Else

These stories are not a sales program.

Participation in The Aster Woman Stories is never connected to purchasing a product or service.

Featured women are not required to promote The Aster Woman, share their film, join a marketing email sequence, or purchase anything.

Stories are selected because they may encourage another woman — not because the participant has a large audience, established platform, or commercial value.

We believe women should remain people first, not content or leads.

The women featured in The Aster Woman Stories are people, not marketing material. We commit to:

Never tying participation to a purchase
Never requiring participants to promote the platform
Never using participant contact information for sales outreach
Never pressuring a woman to disclose trauma or painful details
Editing for clarity and length, not to manufacture drama
Not creating false success narratives
Honoring public, quiet, paid, unpaid, completed, and unfinished work equally
Allowing participants to raise accuracy, privacy, translation, or safety concerns before publication
Not using a woman's story in unrelated advertising without separate permission
Protecting sensitive identifying information
Never allowing sponsors to determine who is featured or how her story is told

You may know a woman whose life, faith, experience, service, hardship, work, or quiet obedience has prepared her to carry something meaningful.

She may be a friend, sister, colleague, neighbor, fellow church member, mentor, or someone you have watched begin again.

She does not need to be well-known, successful, entrepreneurial, or finished. If her story might quietly encourage another woman, we would be honored to hear about her.

Women's ministry leaders: If someone in your congregation or community comes to mind, you are warmly invited to nominate her as well. No church promotion or coordination is required.
